The Creative Family
There’s a new movement among young families today, to bring fun, new meaning, and above all, ingenuity into their homes through homemade crafts, and imagination-based activities. Encouraging family togetherness that does not include a weekend trip to the shopping mall.
These families are reusing, recycling, repurposing, and reinventing the DIY movement. And changing the way the next generation thinks about shopping, self-reliance, and the way we value the stuff that surrounds us.
Amanda Blake Soule, author of ‘The Creative Family – How to Encourage Imagination and Nurture Family Connections’, shows us how to do just that. Her book is filled with projects, activities and ideas on how to have fun with fewer toys, share the tradition of handmade crafts, and how to connect as a family through everyday celebrations. It’s a truly meaningful book about how to become a more creative family.
