A. Ferd
While viewing Ferd’s contemporary and crisp clothing line, we found ourselves asking ‘does this style come in adult sizes?’ Designer Jennifer Connaughton’s unique approach to designing for children age 6 months to 6 years, stems no doubt, from her background in women’s clothing. Some of our favourite pieces were the Tie Gather Dress in the Crackle Flower print, the Jewel Gather cotton knit top, and the soft Merino sweater dress in light grey.

B. Atsuyo Et Akiko
Atsuyo Yang and Akiko Mukae presented a fresh collection of children’s fashion accessories at Bubble NY. The two of them share a love for screen-printing. Their signature illustrations and sayings, adorn ordinary, everyday items such as 100% organic tees, gold embroidered cushions and hand silkscreened bags. But their exquisite jewelry collection stole the show! Atsuyo Et Akiko’s heavenly ribbon necklaces, and their range of sterling silver, mon ami and j’adore discs were at the top of our ‘must have’ list.

C. Jasper Hearts Wren
These simple, comfortable playclothes for infants and toddlers, are created by Heather Jennings and Lisa Schwartz. Sweatshop-free cotton tees and hoodies are the canvases for their hand-stitched felt designs. They also make three pretty styles of dresses (apron, jumper and halter) in a variety of darling prints.

D. Munster
This beloved Australian label, rocked New York again last week, with it’s latest collection. Filling a cap in the market for kids with excitable tastes, this brands apparel is inspired by music, art and street culture. This season Munster offers up a great selection of denim jeans, bold hoodies (the Paint Fight style was our pick) and some very cool front zip jackets. The label will also launch this season, T4T: an initiative that aims to help clothe kids in orphanages throughout Vietnam.

E. Oeuf
This New York-based design company known for smart, modern design, had one of the largest booths at Bubble last week. Their ever expanding range continues to deliver beautifully designed handcrafted knits for it’s Clothier Collection. Updated classics like the Squeeze Me Mittens (shown above) were on show, as well as some new items which included adorable animal tails and nose masks for dressing up.

F. Babybearshop
Babybearshop products are made with certified organic ingredients. All 100% natural and none of them contain anything artificial. Only the safest, highest-quality essential oils are used in Babybearshop products. This luscious range currently includes, the Mama Belly oil, a Cheeky Baby Butter, Soy Wax Candles and beautifully packaged, organic lip balms. 

G. I Golfini Della Nonna
I Golfini Della Nonna continue to create more and more unique, hand made products each season. Stuffed animals, finger puppets and special toys are all knit by hand in either 100% cotton or 100% alpaca, by a women’s cooperative in Bolivia. Our favourites were: The Stacking Cone, Car Set, Tic Tac Toe game, and the entire collection of Alpaca Animals.
