Busy Bees

Great news! LMNOP have teamed up with The Purl Bee to bring you loads of great projects to make with, and for your kids. On the LMNOP Blog and in each issue, we’ll feature fun projects from The Purl Bee’s archives. Everything from adorable dress-up costumes, to easy to make finger puppets. The link we provide will send you straight to the Project Journal for each featured project.

The Purl Bee is the online journal of Purl and Purl Patchwork – two shops in Soho, New York, devoted to beautiful materials and tools for knitting, sewing, quilting and other crafts.

Purl is a must-see destination for anyone who loves beautiful yarns.

Inspired by their talented customers, Purl created The Purl Bee as a way to participate in conversations that existed between knitters, quilters and other crafters on the Internet.

Purl Patchwork is located a few doors down from Purl, at 147 Sullivan Street, NY

At The Purl Bee you’ll find great project ideas, illustrated tutorials, glossaries to help you navigate new crafts, and lots more. Follow a project from beginning to end with their beautifully photographed Project Journals. The journals detail every stage of the process, from choosing materials, to process pitfalls and successful finishes.

We’ll post The Purl Bee’s first project for LMNOP on our blog tomorrow. In the meantime, head over to The Purl Bee. You’ll be inspired to make something for sure!
