Onegirl Designwrks at Tiny and Small

Onegirl Designwrks is the creative outpouring of Melbourne designer, Leslie Keating, whose love of colour, design, fabric and little people, all culminate into charming, unique soft toys, quilts and nursery accessories.

Leslie began her business ten years ago in Canada as an outlet to express creativity outside of her day job as a graphic designer. She sold her hand bound leather journals and handcrafted greeting cards online and through numerous shops across Canada for six years before deciding to make a radical change upon moving to Australia.“I’d reached the limit of what I could do with the leather books – no matter how well they were received, I was ready for something new and more versatile.” Soon after settling in Melbourne, she bought a sewing machine, began sketching out original patterns and collecting vintage fabrics from op shops.

Leslie now seeks out vintage and specialty fabrics from all over the world to create her original designs. You’ll see a collection of Leslie’s one-of-a kind items at Tiny and Small this week.
