Maiike at Tiny and Small, Sydney
![]()
We first came across Maiike’s quirky handmade soft toys and cot quilts at Sydney boutique, Spoilt Rotten a couple of years ago. We adored them back then, and we still love them now. If you’re in Sydney this week, you can look forward to seeing designer Aly Peel’s charming collection at Tiny and Small.
Peel gathers and restores vintage and recycled knitwear, then handcrafts the materials into new quilts, cushions, and scarves. From the remaining left over pieces she makes an eclectic range of curiously cute children’s toys. Much thought and care goes into her original designs and each is hand finished by Aly herself.
