Out & About: Little Big Shots

Perfect for families and kids aged 2 to 18, Little Big Shots is Australia’s major annual and traveling children’s film festival. An inspiring, meaningful and fun-filled festival, Little Big Shots features the best in local and international children’s shorts, animations, documentaries and, amazingly, child-produced films.
Little Big Shots includes over 90 films from 25 countries. Festival director, Chloe Boulton believes, “The festival is the perfect way for kids to see great stories from all over the world that would never otherwise make it to Australia. The themes and ideas covered in the films are incredibly engaging and relevant to the lives of all children.”
The festival’s Melbourne season will run from June 3 to 8, at ACMI Cinemas (Australian Centre for the Moving Image, Federation Square) plus selected sessions at ArtPlay on Birrarung Marr. For program information go here.
