Building possibilities are infinite with Kapla Blocks.

Building possibilities are infinite with Kapla Blocks.

If you’ve never seen Kapla Blocks you’re in for a real treat. Dutch-born Tom Van Der Bruggen created these plank shaped blocks while restoring a 19th century chateau in the South of France. He named his clever invention ”Kapla” which means ‘pixie planks’ in Dutch.

These lightweight blocks are a winner for kids who love to build. Kapla is a unique open-ended building toy, designed to be stacked to build cool construction. Kids can make their designs as simple or as complicated as they like. Gravity and imagination is all that’s required. Kapla sets include illustrated instructions with basic building techniques to help you get underway. Made from 100% natural Pine from certified renewable forests in France and available in 7 striking colours, this award-winner will be sure to be a hit in your playroom.

Kapla will be on show at Baby & Kids World in Tokyo next month. This unique toy company is renowned for constructing amazing Kapla structures at trade show events. We’ll be sure to bring you coverage of Kapla’s stand at the show on the LMNOP Blog in July when we return from Japan, and in Issue 8 of LMNOP, due out in August.
