Playful Learning is a terrific homegrown website that shares useful and interesting information with families regarding the growth and development of their kids.

After working in the field of education for over a decade, Mariah Bruehl had been blessed with the opportunity to stay at home with her 4 and 6 year old daughters. Whether  she was teaching in the classroom, training teachers or implementing programs across many grade levels, Mariah’s true love was the development and implementation of curriculum. Now at home, she began the journey of adapting what she knew about educational research and practice into simple, playful learning experiences that parents could easily share with their children.

Engaging in fun learning experiences requires planning, preparation, flexibility, spontaneity and free, unstructured periods of time in your schedule. We all find it hard to be spontaneous sometimes when it comes to preparing learning activities for our kids. Playful Learning is a great resource for any parent searching for good ideas.
