A. Green Cotton
Danish design is well and truly in fashion for kids and especially if it’s made with 100% organic cotton. DK label Green Cotton showed a fun range of bodysuits for babies along with some great basics for older kids.

B. Brio Grow High Chair
We introduced you to these ultra cool high chairs last month. We’re happy to report that not only do they look good, but are also practical and sturdy.

C. Brio phone
Brio also launched a beautifully crafted, mobile handset for babies at this show. The buttons squeak when you push them and there’s a mirror in the lid of the phone, so bubs can talk to themselves if they want to.

D. i play bibs
Found these cheerful fruit bibs from i play on day 2 of the show. We’ll show you some more styles next week.

E. Sophie la Girafe
French toy company Vulli introduced Sophie the Giraffe to the market more than 46 years ago. She’s only recently become readily available in Australia and will soon hit stores in Japan for the very first time. Sophie is made of 100% natural rubber and is completely safe to chew, just like a feeding bottle teat. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of giving this cute toy to a teething baby, you’ll know that they LOVE them. She’s easy to grip and soft to touch, but best of all her texture and numerous chewable parts make her perfect for soothing sore gums. Japanese mothers will be delighted to discover this “must have” toy.

F. Pustefix
We saw Pustefix bubble products absolutely everywhere in Tokyo. Obviously the bubble liquid of choice in Japan, Pustefix’s extensive range of bubble products just keeps growing. The bubble toy accessories shown above are a new addition to the range. You squeeze the animals to release bubbles from their mouths – very cute!

G. Nanoblock
Tiny, Lego-like pieces called Mamelog are all the rage in Japan right now. Nanoblock showcased a new product at the fair called Mamelog – glass jar sets filled with colourful miniature Nanoblock bits that can make a multitude of tiny structures.

H. 7 Mile Bridge
More great kid’s accessories from 7 Mile Bridge.

I. Papyrus
Acclaimed Japanese artist Eiji Hiyama’s cardboard installations have been enjoyed by his many fans in Japan for quite some time now. He has custom built some of the most amazing cardboard playgrounds for kids and regularly runs art and craft workshops for his young followers. Eiji introduced his new range of craft kits under the brand name Danbou at Baby & Kids World last week. Children and craft enthusiasts around the world can now create some of his works of art at home. LMNOP were lucky enough to meet Eiji in person whilst we were at the show. We’ll bring you more of that coverage on the LMNOP Blog soon.
