Postcards from Tokyo: Harajuku
![]()
Greetings from Harajuku, Japan’s youth fashion mecca. There’s plenty of quirky teenybop culture in this part of town as well as a few of Tokyo’s best kids’ clothing and toy emporiums.

Bape Kids is an ultra cool clothing store where you can pick up some unique threads for your trendy tots. There’s an amazing multi-colored banana pit inside, where your kids can play while you shop.

Nestled in a quieter part of Harajuku is Japan’s leading toy store, BorneLund. We spent an entire afternoon here checking out their amazing collection. We’ll take you inside the BorneLund store later this year in Issue 9 of LMNOP.

Loving your postcards from Japan – I was there last year and loved the focus on kids in the Japanese culture!
