Postcards from Tokyo: Daikanyama

LMNOP_Tokyo

Cycling is the most popular mode of transport for the residents of Tokyo city. Even young mothers cycle with their babies in tow, sometimes carrying a child in the back as well.

We visited the low-rise neighborhood of Daikanyama today. A quiet, highly fashionable, up and coming area for young Japanese families. It’s becoming populated with lots of new children’s boutique stores, great bakeries, and is the place for mums to shop for the latest fashions for themselves and their kids.
