Kimmel Kids and The Ace Hotel are hosting a unique family getaway in sunny Palm Springs later this month. The Art of Exchange/Crafting Community weekend is designed to help you shift gears from the hectic hustle of city life and to enjoy a poolside weekend of craft, community and creativity.

Young guests will create their own works of art with the Kimmel Kids Stencils.

The weekend retreat will feature an eclectic array of interactive workshops for the whole family to enjoy. L.A-based installation artist and designer Karen Kimmel will lead the creative charge by hosting her signature stencil workshop, while fellow artists David Alvarez, Clare Crespo, Confetti System, Elizabeth Halpern, Erik Ian and Geoff McFetridge will engage the group with inspiring projects such as dioramas, potato prints, macramé, miniature gardens and knitting.

The whole family will enjoy the interactive workshops on offer at the retreat.

Your clan will pack in plenty of recreation and relaxation too: a poolside barbecue; a family movie night; fireside s’mores; and communal dinning – all destined to foster rich relationships with other busy families in need of a well-earned break.
