Miniature Bird Basket

Miniature Bird Baskets. Photo: Ian MacPherson. Created & styled by Jenny Lacey.
These charming miniature bird baskets can be constructed in next to no time for a sweet Easter Sunday surprise. All you need are a few simple supplies – here’s what we used, but other similar products would serve just as well.

Miniature Bird Baskets How-to. Photo: Ian MacPherson. Styled by Jenny Lacey.
A. Mini Eggs. Cadbury
B. Pleated cupcake papers. Donna Hay
C. Sizzle Shred in white. The Container Store
D. Glitter Mini Bird magnets. World Buyers
E. Crepe paper twist ties. P.Work
HOW-TO:
1. Wrap a twist tie around a small glass to create the handle shape for your basket.
2. Using a hot glue gun, dab 2 dots of glue on the inside of a cupcake paper, then stick the handle in place.
3. Fill the basket with Sizzle Shred and top with plenty of pretty mini chocolate eggs.
4. Place a miniature bird magnet on top of the twist tie handle, where she’ll stay perched until you set her free.
