LMNOP loves Mums: Meet Vanessa Boz

Vanessa Boz’s blog provides travel notes and destination ideas for modern families who love to be on the move. She is also the co-founder of Bubble, The Kids Trade Show and a regular Milk Magazine contributor. Vanessa and her family have just completed a round-the-world family adventure which involved boarding 37 flights to visit 14 countries over a period of 5 months. Before you head to BozAround to read all about it, find out where this well-travelled mum is happiest.

LMNOP: How many children do you have, and how old are they?
I have 2 children. Marcelo is 5 years old and Amalya is 2 years old.

LMNOP: Name an activity you love to do with your kids?
We love to sing together, and invent songs on tunes that we already know. Sometimes they rhyme, sometimes they are silly, and sometimes they’re just little songs of love.

LMNOP: When and where are you happiest?
I am happiest when my children are in my arms, cuddling with me and we whisper words of love to each other. In those moments, nothing else matters in the world.

LMNOP: How are you most like your own mother?
I always worry if they eat well, if they’ve had a good meal, if they are going to be hungry; it must be the Italian side of my mother whom the children call Nonna!

LMNOP: The best piece of advice your mother ever gave you?
When in doubt, follow your intuition and always trust your maternal instincts.

LMNOP: Name three things your children have taught you.
Thanks to them coming into my life, I have… learnt to be patient, gained confidence in my judgments, and made my first cake ever.

LMNOP: Complete this sentence. “I hope my children inherit my….”
… free-spirit and thirst for adventure.
