This July, families have a chance to participate in the creation of not one, but two, life-sized mazes, using reclaimed materials and the clever makedo connectors.

Fun4Kids on at Warnambool, Victoria from 3-10 July will be the site of a jungle-themed maze. Over the course of a week, you’ll get to build the maze and all the exotic creatures in it. When all the building’s done, you’ll get to pit your wits against the labyrinth, with jungle sounds and atmospheric lighting to help you really get in the mood for exploration.

At State of Design in Federation Square, Melbourne on 31 July, you’re invited to join forces with design students and the folks from makedo to quickly construct makedo’s Marvellous Life-Size Maze in the BMW Edge space. There’ll be hour-long making sessions to build each section and the wilder the imagination, the better it will be! During the day, sections will be open for everyone to walk through.
