– so she’s created a private library for her own two sons.

Wearstler with her sons Oliver and Elliott.
Kelly Wearstler has been both brainchild and midwife of some of the world’s most fabulous hotels, office spaces and private estates.
So when it comes to her own home in Beverly Hills, it’s not surprising she’s brought her talents to bear creating the perfect environment for her family.
Keen to encourage a love of books, Wearstler set about transforming a room off the kitchen. She decided it would be much easier for her sons if they could actually see the covers. The books make a decorative feature all on their own, displayed outwards on shelves with a one-inch lip.
It creates a festive, magical atmosphere, she says, that’s also very practical.
