Japanese company Kiko has been collecting a fair few fans in Europe lately for their incredibly simple and playful toys. Tanabata, pictured here, teaches kids counting and colours and doubles as a novel domino set. Designed by Kaz Shiomi, who also does a range for Muji, every toy is finely crafted and made with sustainable timber and child-safe vegetable dyes.
Visit kiko-kids for stockists.
