There are few boutiques for children that evoke such a feeling of wonderment as can be found inside Manon et Gwenaëlle. This enchanting store houses an array of exquisite kidswear and accessories from around the globe, including that of owner Virgine Batterson. Her MamaPapa label takes pride of place in the shop, which the French ex-pat operates alongside business partner and friend, Lisa Lazaris. Both maintain the store is their “escape” from the daily grind. A quick visit and it’s easy to see why – it is truly delightful.

Every inch is dotted with tempting treasures for your tiny person, like vintage clothing from Brooklyn boutique Mor Mor Rita; delicate bracelets and feather headbands by Japanese design team Atsuyo et Akiko; and the magical, must-have Blabla dolls handmade by Peruvian artisans.
