You all know Little Collector is one of our favourite online destinations to pick up contemporary art for kids. There’s always something new in-store.

This week it’s Jay Cover’s limited edition print, “Animal Stack“. Created exclusively for Little Collector, UK-based illustrator Cover looked to David Attenborough for inspiration when conceptualising the artwork.

“I’m an avid fan of David Attenborough, whose documentaries and books explore the natural world. He talks about his childhood pets and humble collection of curiosities relating to animals, how this nurtured and informed his life-long interest in the subject. It always reminds me of my own curiosity in youth toward the natural world with all its wonder. I picked up my Encyclopedia of Natural History – read through and picked out some of my favourite animals to interpret. What a healthy subject to nourish a young mind, I thought”, says Jay.
