Forget The Cars that Ate Paris – these playful vehicles from designer Oscar Diaz consume their own packaging in the making. All the parts needed are contained inside the tube and all the materials – cardboard, rubber and bamboo bits – are fully recycled or recyclable.

Sadly in our experience this toy looks cute and is an innovative idea but not so great for the target age group.
The wheels do not stay on when a young child drives it (and what else would they do with it?) and after many repeats of putting the rubber wheels back on, one of the big wheels broke. For a $20 toy it is disappointing. Great idea and our son was so excited by it but the reality wasn’t so good.
