LMNOP – Issue 10 is out today and it’s packed full with loads of great articles on the latest looks, trends and designs for kids.

We collaborated with Monkey Puzzle’s Pamela Blyton to bring you a fun story on family games, and you’ll discover lots of playful stationery and school supplies in our regular column, PLAY.

Today we’re sharing some photos from our recent trip to Tokyo. We hit the streets of Ginza and Shibuya whilst we were there – here’s a quick look at some of the great things we saw…

Tokyo’s exclusive Wako Department Store always has amazing window displays. The giant heart frames shown above were made from white wire mesh. Small fabric squares have then been wedged into the holes to create a petal effect. We were inspired!

One of the highlights of our visit to Ginza was spotting this Chupa Chups vending machine at the entrance of Hakuhinkan. Very cool!

100X100 Exhibition at Tokyu Hands.

We were sure to stop by Tokyu Hands to check out what was new. The store in Ginza was exhibiting 100X100: an amazing architectural model accessories installation by Teradadesign Architects. The tiny people (made from light card stock) shown in the photos below only stand 18 mm tall. The miniature scenes were truly spectacular. See how the installation was created here.

These magnetic animals were a real find. Available in every species imaginable, they split in half and can hold a card or photo. Cute desk accessory.

Uimi is a textile design studio showcasing a range of stylish, eco-friendly knitwear for body, baby and home and LMNOP is sure it will soon be a favourite of buyers and retailers at Kids Instyle which starts today.

Unlike many of its counterparts, the Melbourne-based outfit designs and produces all its products on home soil. Uimi knits are created from natural fibres like merino wool and organic cotton, which are gentle on the most delicate skin.

Our editorial team will bring you all the official coverage together with news from behind-the-scenes, and this year our crew will be assisted by two ‘pint-size’ photo-journalists, Charlie and Claire. Ball and Skittle is a relatively new and very special online emporium for children, and will be another exhibitor to keep an eye out for at Kids Instyle when it commences this Thursday at Sydney’s Royal Hall of Industries & Horden Pavilion.

The West Australian company will use Kids Instyle to officially release Lad & Lass and Villa Carton to buyers and retailers. At Kids Instyle this week LMNOP will be dropping-in on Cherry Pie. It represents a string of hip designer children’s wear companies including Oopsy Daisy Baby, Pink Chicken New York, Hello Hanna, and Stella Cove. The latter two featured in the last edition of LMNOP magazine.
